P-51B/C Finale

Well finally… I’ve completed the Tamiya P-51B/C in 1/48 scale. I finished the kit using Tamiya paints and an Alclad II clear coat semi-matte. The next project! This will be my first Soviet jet in forever and ever since watching The Inner Nerd tackle Kitty Hawk’s boxing, I’ve wanted to build one. I think Salem Representative is finally done. Bit of a shorter update for this one. Even though #jerseyjerk is still ostensibly under construction (almost there!), I decided to tackle an #accurateminiatures P-51B, making use of @eduardmodels and @officialairfix components. The seat is an unused Eduard print from their royal class P-51B, while the propeller is from Airfix. The @officialairfix P-51D is approaching completion! I had some issues with a couple decals, but the not the ones I thought. It was quite interesting: The black bars on the wings were near perfect and adhered to the surface exceptionally well. But the "QI" decals were uncooperative. Thankfully I had a second set to use. And that's a wrap on the Accurate Miniatures (@eduardmodels) P-400 Airacobra in 1/48 scale. With the dihedral set and nose weight added, it’s time for some paint. Lacking the “official” middle stone color, I supplemented some German tan and ya know? It looks close enough. Quite happy with the progress on the accurate miniatures (aka @eduardmodels) P-400. These planes were heavily worn during the fighting on Guadalcanal and I think I’ve captured that. Ohhhh you wanted an update on the #mustang? Well here ya go!

Any ocean, lake, or river-going vessel will be found here. This includes boats if I ever build any.

Armor

Includes, but will not be limited to: Tanks, SPGs, APCs, tank destroyers, and anything else in between.
